The founder and leader of Movement for Change, Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has extended his working visit to traders of Nana Bosoma market in Sunyani on Wednesday, 31, 2024, as part of his bid to connect with the business community in the Bono Region.
The tour, started with a closed-door meeting with the Queen mother of Sunyani traditional council, Nana Akosua Dua Asor Sika Brayie II.
Alan Kyeremanten granted studio interview on Sunyani- based Ark FM with the host, Kwabena Obeng Akrofi, followed with an interaction and familiarization tour to the Market as way of introducing himself to traders.

Queen mothers of Nana Bosoma market used the visit to outline some pressing issues affecting day-to-day activities in the market.

The president of Sunyani market Queens who doubles as Dwantoahemaa of Sunyani Traditional Council, Nana Abowaa Boahemaa II, asked for grant and a more befitting and conducive market facility for their trade.
Nana Abowaa Boahemaa II again appealed for protocol opportunities for their children to enable them secure jobs in government institutions.

The former Trades and Industry Minister promised to create more industrial jobs when he becomes President of Ghana.
He said, fulfilling this promise will be his priority as he seeks to cut down on unemployment in the country.
“The free SHS is allowing several people to be educated but after the free SHS, what must happen is that they must be employed but where is the work to be done? It is this problem that I want to solve…,” he pledged in Twi.
Mr. Kyeremanten told Ark News that, most market centers are now experiencing a downturn as traders lament a significant decline in sales.
The founder of Movement for Change attributed the decline in sales to the challenging economic conditions in the country, which have constrained consumer spending.
Thus, Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen pledged to the market Queens of restoring confidence in the Ghanaian economy if elected.
He proceeded to address traders of Nana Bosoma Market.
Mr. Kyerematen articulated a comprehensive plan to enhance market infrastructure across the country citing that, every district capital will benefit an ultramodern market facility.
The leader of Movement for Change told Kaakyire Kwasi Afari of Ark FM that, each of the market will have certain facilities like clinics, childcare centres and lorry stations.
Thus, he promised to redevelop Nana Bosoma market in Sunyani into an ultramodern one to befit the regional capital should he become president.
Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten reiterated his commitment to establish a Traders’ Bank to support traders in the country to improve their activities.
He said the growth and development of the country largely depended on the success of businesses, and for that matter, traders.
