The family of a 22-year-old woman, Christolite Akweley Kuma Quaye, have petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to help locate her.
Christilite was last seen on August 20, 2024, while going to the house of her abusers in Chorkor, a suburb in Accra to confront them.
The victim is said to have told her family that suspects, whose names she gave as Rich and Okwabi, had caused her harm.
However, she has not been seen or heard from since.
Her family contacted both Rich and Okwabi, but the two men have denied any knowledge of her whereabouts.
The family has made numerous efforts to locate Christolite, but all attempts have been unsuccessful.
In a desperate bid to find their loved one, the family has petitioned the Director General of the CID to assist in locating Christolite.
The Police is yet to release an official statement on the matter but the search for Christolite continues.
