In a match full of attacking flair but lacking in clinical finishes, the breakthrough came just 11 minutes before the final whistle.

Mamah’s powerful header in the 79th minute shattered Nsoatreman’s hopes and earned FC Samartex their first Champion of Champions accolade.

The encounter, played before a near-capacity crowd, was a thrilling display of high-quality football in the football-enthusiastic town of Tarkwa on August 31, 2024. Both teams showcased their talent in a high-energy game that captivated the fans.

The Champion of Champions serves as a prelude to the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, which begins on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Both FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC will also represent Ghana in the CAF inter-club competitions, with Samartex set to face Raja Athletic Club in the Champions League and Nsoatreman FC scheduled to compete against CS Constantine in the Confederation Cup.
