The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to hold a demonstration against the Electoral Commission (EC) on Tuesday, September 17.
The Accra Regional Police Command has agreed to the proposed route and termination point for the protest.
NDC leadership has assured the public that the demonstration will be peaceful. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, stated that the protest transcends party lines. He emphasized the importance of a credible and trustworthy voters’ register as the country approaches critical elections.
Following a meeting with the Police High Command, NDC officials, including Kwetey, visited the EC’s Head Office to finalize the termination point for the demonstration. Kwetey called on the public to participate in the protest.
