The Nkosuohene of Agogo traditional council, Nana Kwabena Acheampong has donated 6, 000 Ghana cedis to two needy students of Asante Akyem North Municipal of the Ashanti region today November 20, 2024 at the Agogo palace to help boost education in the Municipal.
According to Mr. Amoako Williams, the CEO of Matumi a wobetumi Foundation who spoke on behalf of Nana Kwabena Acheampong the Nkosuohene revealed that, many people are in the Municipal who are brilliant but because of money, their talents have been hidden in doors.
Due to that, Nana Kwabena Acheampong selected two brilliant students who are from far communities in the Asante Akyem North Municipal but get 6 ones grade and were able to get admission to Prempeh and St Louis colleges with the huge sum of 3,000 Ghana cedis each.
His kinship title is Nkosuohene hence his moves of supporting brilliant but needy students, he added.
Nana Kwame Nti the Kontihene of Agogo traditional council who represented the Omanhene of Agogo traditional area: Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong voiced out blessings and praises to Nana Kwabena Acheampong and had this to say:
Again, Nana Kwabena Owusu Ansah Sasraku Aduomi hurled advise to parents to use the money received today beneficially for the two students in their various schools they have been enrolled in.
Finally, the two students who benefited from Nkosuo Foundation today expressed their heart felt gratitude to Nana Kwabena Acheampong.
