Good afternoon Nananom, ladies and gentlemen, and friends from the media. We are most
grateful to you all in honoring such an awe- inspiring call.
The rationality for this vital call is to unravel certain preconceived conception about Comrade
Raymond Nana Ebbah (OBIAA BEDIDI) in a circulating video across various social media
platforms purporting that he originates from Wassa Akropong.
Aftermath of the just ended Western regional NDC applicants for the MMDCE’s position, two
embittered applicants from Amenfi East have deliberately been vending untrue tales about their
colleague applicant who graciously qualified to the upcoming national vetting on the grounds of
same origination with the current MP.
We nananom from Gyedua zone are on this note clearing the airwaves that Comrade
RAYMOND NANA EBBAH is a Gyedua Asamang native (Gyedua zone) and apparently from
the royal family. He is nowhere near the current MP’s hometown as well as his zone.

With regards to zonal integration allegations, in the year 1992 Japa zone had a sitting
constituency chairman, organizer and currently having the constituency treasurer.
Concerning Dawurampong zone; former MP, current constituency Secretary and two members
of the constituency’s council of elders have same emergence.
With respect to Nkonya zone, they’ve had their share of having the current constituency
communication officer.
Apparently, Afransie zone had a former MP, former constituency Secretary, current vice
chairman and our Hon MP from Abrokyire Krobo which resides within the same zone. (On and
on from other zones………)
Wasa Akropong (constituency capital) is a business hub and so far as certain comrades hustle
there to make ends meet as a result of quality business proximity doesn’t give an origination
score card .For example the current Hon MP originates from Abrokyire Krobo but have stayed in
the constituency capital for so many years so as the constituency Secretary from Dawurampong
but also stays at Wasa Akropong.Same as Comrade RAYMOND NANA EBBAH.
We are once again reaffirming our stand to the public that RAYMOND NANA EBBAH is our
proud native from Gyedua Asamang.
