Is Hon. Ken A Threat To Dr. Bawumia & S. Kodua?
Can anyone confirm if Hon. Ken made any derogatory remarks regarding Bawumia during his speech? A meticulous examination of Hon. Ken’s address to the constituents of Asante Mampong reveals that he did not disparage Bawumia, contrary to the assertions made by Samira Bawumia and others. Hon. Ken was elucidating a topic concerning Adu Boahen that Dr. Bawumia had neglected in his statements.
It is impossible to discuss the history of the NPP with Ghanaians without mentioning Adu Boahen as the party’s central figure. It is always important to give a full history rather than a partial one because this helps to avoid biases and misunderstandings. It was expected that since Dr. Bawumia authored his thesis while enrolled in his PhD program, he would have given a vivid and concise account of the NPP history instead of just a partial one. Giving Ghanaians (supporters of the NPP) a thorough explanation will improve their understanding. A more comprehensive approach allows for a nuanced perspective that considers multiple points of view and the complexities of historical events.
Why do people insult and express anger toward Hon. Ken? Is Hon. Ken perceived as a threat to Bawumia in the upcoming NPP primaries? Are we focused on developing our country or just a political party? If the NPP leaders truly care about the well-being of Ghanaians, they must put an end to the bullying, intimidation, and marginalization of Hon. Ken and others. This innocent man (Hon. Ken) was not viewed negatively when he actively defended the NPP party, but he has been labeled a monster since announcing his intention to run as the party’s flagbearer. Whenever he speaks, the majority of responses are negative.
When Bawumia addresses an issue, whether good or bad, there is often little reaction; however, as soon as Hon. Ken speaks, it ignites anger among many people. Despite this, Hon. Ken is a proponent of peace and genuinely wants to help his nation by aiming to create jobs for Ghana’s youth, so why is it challenging for us to recognize that? Why are so many Ghanaians so harsh toward Hon. Ken, even though he delivers the same message as Bawumia?
As Ghanaians, do we truly understand what we want in life? Are we seeking a self-serving power grabber or a patriot who will create jobs through industrialization? Can’t we delve deeper and scrutinize the actions of Kodua and his allies? Do they have good or bad intentions for the country? Are Kodua and his allies working for their party or for the people of Ghana? Is there something Kodua is concealing in his efforts to undermine Hon. Ken? Given the competitive nature of elections, why does Kodua, as the National Secretary of NPP, express such strong support for Dr. Bawumia instead of maintaining neutrality? Is his support purely driven by personal ambition to help Ghanaians? What explains the widespread disdain directed at him?
This is not the NPP we all know. It appears that the NPP lacks effective leadership. How did we arrive at this point? Will the NPP even survive, considering how Kodua and his associates are trying to eliminate other candidates to impose one specific individual on the party, someone whom Ghanaians do not support?
Let us take note of how the NDC under President Mahama is making important progress toward transforming Ghana. The NPP must step up and identify a more suitable candidate who can effectively challenge the NDC, especially given the commendable work they are currently doing for the people of Ghana.
The youth of Ghana need meaningful employment to sustain their livelihoods. Mr. Kodua, it’s time to step up and unite the NPP, fostering an environment free from discrimination, marginalization, bullying, or unfair treatment of party members and supporters. We must prioritize Ghana over any political party and work collectively to create a better living environment without victimization.
