Residents of Aboabo No. 1 to 4 in the Dormaa Central Constituency of the Bono Region are frustrated with the poor condition of their roads, which has become a top campaign issue for politicians from both NDC and NPP ahead of the general elections this year. The road, which was nearly completed in 2016, has been neglected for eight years, leaving users feeling helpless due to its deteriorated state.

Some reconstruction efforts have been made in the last two months, with the Member of Parliament assuring that he’s working hard to complete the project soon. However, residents remain dissatisfied, stating that the current roadwork won’t influence their voting decisions. Some have even lost interest in voting due to repeated disappointments from politicians, prioritizing the road’s construction over casting their ballots.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central Constituency, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu, has refrained from making any promises regarding the aforementioned road, stating that he is diligently working to ensure its timely construction.
