The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Amenfi East in the Western Region, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah (OBIAA BEDIDI) has today exercised his authority on the Tarkwa-Ayanfuri highway to stop all illegal miners working near the highway.
Hon. Nana Ebbah started the exercise from the Wassa Adiembra-Japa road, Japa-Dadieso road, and Dadieso-Abreshie road.
Speaking with dailyupdatenewsgh.com editor Abrewa Nana Kwabena Tewiah, Hon. Raymond Nana Ebbah stated that he will ensure the road is safe and prevent anyone from destroying it.
He warned that any illegal miners caught working close to the road would face the law.
