Forward Fatawu Issahaku has described the English Premier League as “more intense” following his debut for Leicester City.

The 20-year-old, who was directly involved in 19 goals during his time in the Championship last season, recently signed a permanent five-year deal with the club.

On Monday night, he marked his first appearance in the English top flight with an assist for Jamie Vardy’s goal which ultimately helped Leicester City secure a point in the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

“It was a great feeling and it is great to take a point out of it. I am so happy, it is a dream come true for me,” he told the club’s media.

“There is difference in the Premier League because it is more intense and more running. You have to keep on coping up with the team. There are differences but we keep going.”

Leicester travel to Craven Cottage for Fulham clash in their next Premier League fixture as Fatawu hopes to rack up more matches in the Premier League.
