FOUR PERSONS SUSTAIN SERIOUS INJURIES AFTER THUGS ATTACK NDC PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE AND HIS SUPPORTERS IN THE TWIFO HEMANG LOWER DENKYERA CONSTITUENCY

At least, four NDC supporters of Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyera constituency in the central region are currently battling for their lives at Jukwa and Hemang hospital after thugs attacked the parliamentary candidate lawyer Seth Agyapong Mensah and some party faithfuls during a campaign float at Twifo Hemang.

Recounting the bloody incident to the media Mr. John Kobi who is the NDC communication officer for NDC’s Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyera constituency said, yesterday the NDC campaign team in the constituency organized a float on the principal streets of Twifo Hemang to revitalize and unite the teaming supporters of the party.

Meanwhile, some group who defected from the NDC party to join NPP after the primaries when their prefered candidate lost that primaries suddenly ambushed on the supporters and the P.C with cutlasses, sticks and stones which has landed four of the party members in the hospital.

Mr. John Kobi reiterated that, the matter has been reported to Twifo Hemang police however, the suspects have since taken to their heels while police are tirelessly searching for them.
