The Pru East National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam is collaborating with the district local council of churches to organize a two-day prayer and praise festival.

The two-day event, slated for Tuesday, 19th to 20th November at Station 1 in Yeji of Pru East constituency, is crucial as the country heads toward general elections.

Residents in the constituency and other interested participants are expected to converge at the prayer event at exactly 6:30pm to encounter the presence of God amid singing and dancing.

The event, “Lord Boam Prays with All Believers,” seeks to involve denominational churches and other believers through collaborative efforts to achieve a peaceful election.

Inasmuch Pru East constituency remains one of the most peaceful constituencies in the Bono East Region during elections, it’s imperative for stakeholders to intensify peaceful campaigns to sustain its past glory.

For this reason, the NDC parliamentary candidate Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, affectionately called Lord Boam, is taking the lead with religious leaders to preach political tolerance.

The prayer festival will be graced by Jojo Arhin as the invited guest, Rev. C.K. Ababio, Yeji Ministries fellowship chairman, G.P.C.C chairman Rev. Enoch Owusu, and other prominent dignitaries.

While Pru East constituents opt for peaceful elections, the prayer festival will contribute as an appropriate platform for religious leaders to propagate the message of peace and the need to elect visionary leaders in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Lord Boam, the first-time parliamentary candidate in Pru East, is optimistic about retaining the NDC seat after beating the former power minister and incumbent NDC MP, Hon. Kwabena Donkor, during the party’s primaries.
